Regenerative Building For Resilient Forests

Over the past year, Great Mountain Forest has collaborated with graduate students from the Yale School of Architecture, the Yale Building Lab, and GOA Architecture to envision a model campus prioritizing circular material flows and forest resilience. Developed by students, this conceptual project explores wood-based structural innovation and hands-on experimentation rooted in the forest. Discover how architects and foresters are pioneering regenerative construction technologies that minimize environmental impact while supporting healthy forests. Following a lecture and Reception at the Norfolk Library on Saturday, October 17 from 4-6 PM, the exhibit will be on display at the Hub from October 21 to November 10.
