Artist Reception: Sam Guindon
Join us on Sunday, November 2, from 3-5 PM for the opening of Norfolk Artist Sam Guindon's show titled "Observations". Light refreshments will be served. A few words from Sam about his work: "Image making for me functions as a keyhole through which I can investigate everything I find fascinating in my day to day experience. I paint mainly from life, and I aim to capture how things feel to me. This is often quite different from copying what I’m seeing. Work created this way also incorporates feelings, memories and ideas." The show will be on display during regular Hub hours until 12/29.
Thanksgiving Charcuterie Workshop
Join us for a hands-on workshop to create the perfect holiday centerpiece!
Learn how to build a stunning, Thanksgiving-themed charcuterie board that’s both beautiful and delicious. No experience needed — our instructor will walk you through each step, showing you how to make your food look fun, festive, and ready to impress your guests. You’ll leave with your own completed charcuterie board — designed to last through Thanksgiving — plus plenty of tips and tricks to make your food look fun and creative!
Cost: $45 per person. Prepayment is appreciated but you can pay at the door.

Haystack Pet Costume Parade
Join us for the Haystack Pet Costume Parade, sponsored by The Norfolk Hub, National Iron Bank, and ECAD. Bring your pet in costume and parade around Robertson Plaza for a fun, festive evening.
While the pets show off their style, stop by The Norfolk Hub to sample entries in a community Chili Cook-Off. Also, visit with one of ECAD's amazing dogs & handlers and learn more about their mission.
Winners for Best Pet Costume and Best Chili will be announced in the November 6th issue of The Norfolk Hub newsletter.

Artist Reception: Ruthann Olsson
Join the Norfolk Hub for the opening reception of Ruthann Olsson’s art exhibit titled “Essence & Reflection”. Olsson shares, “The ponds, streams and bog waters of Norfolk were my muse for 20 years, inspiring this series of paintings. Water, with it’s reflected light, dancing sparkle of color and liquid mirage, challenged my eyes to a world of endless curiosity. I was hooked!” The reception will be held on Sunday, September 7, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Light refreshments will be served. Olsson’s show will run through Monday, October 27 and available for viewing during Norfolk Hub hours.
